For the past seven years, James has been delivering exceptional financial services and business advice to small and medium-sized enterprises in the North West. His expertise spans a wide range of areas including Accounts Production, Corporation Tax, VAT, Personal Tax Returns, Bookkeeping (specializing in Xero and QuickBooks), and Payroll.

James has collaborated with a diverse array of businesses, from Sole Traders and Partnerships to Limited Companies, Academies, Contractors, Charities, Personal Service companies (IR35), and Landlords. This extensive experience across various industries enables James to swiftly understand the unique needs of each business, identifying essential requirements and offering valuable insights to aid decision-making.

As a Certified Xero and QuickBooks Advisor, James is passionate about leveraging cloud-based bookkeeping solutions to streamline accounting processes. His guidance has helped numerous businesses transition to these platforms, ensuring accurate transaction accounting and providing clear, insightful views of their business performance.

One of James’s most notable achievements is successfully transitioning over 400 businesses in the UK to Xero, offering ongoing support and driving significant improvements in their accounting practices.

Xoba was established in 2020 during the lockdown, with a mission to support businesses through challenging times and beyond. As a relatively small firm, we maintain low overheads, allowing us to deliver top-tier services to local businesses without breaking the bank.
